The mark
Every session wears its own frequency.
The mark on each session is not decoration. It is a standing wave — the pattern that session's frequency actually makes on a vibrating surface. Ernst Chladni first drew these in 1787 by bowing sand-covered plates; the higher the tone, the more intricate the figure.
So the artwork is derived from the sound rather than applied to it. As the catalogue grows, no two sessions can wear the same face.
